Edmunds.com has just taken secret photos of the new mazda 6 which will enter the market in 2008.

Honestly it looks fugly. Huge, broad and bulky, it is the last thing we need in space-constrained roads. Don’t we already have the Chrysler 300C muscling its fat ass through our 1.0-1.6l tin cans? And, according to the Americans, the engine will be ‘upgraded’ to a 3.5 liter V6. WAH LAN EH (That’s singaporean speak for : Cheez Cripes!).

I doubt this vehicle is really for the average Joe’s family. Most likely, it is hunting around the lexus and subaru legacy territory, picking off unsuspecting prey who will fork out wads of cash for a vehicle as bulky as a beemer but unfortunately, may not be as prestigious in terms of branding

What say you guys? I’m leaving this post open for Asian as well as US and Euro mazda fans to comment!
